Here are a number of programs that offer research opportunities for students:

Whether or not you qualify for work study, you can contact the Office of Financial Aid to inquire about research positions.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an organized program for foreign scholars who wish to participate in research at the University of Michigan.

The Michigan Institute for Clinical and Health Research (MICHR) provides information for study volunteers at their UMHealthResearch.org website.

Is there any way I can find out who has expertise on a certain disease or condition at the University of Michigan Medical School?
Yes. You can use our Michigan Experts search tool to find U-M researchers who have published research on a particular disease or condition. You can do a keyword search which will return the names of researchers who have published in that field. You can then find their contact information in MCommunity, the U-M online directory.
