CTSO Noontime Knowledge: An Introduction to Mixed Methods Research

This session, presented by the Clinical Trials Support Office, will provide researchers with the basics of mixed-methods research from a presentation led by Justine Wu, M.D., MPH, Mixed Methods Program Co-Director. Participants will first listen to a recorded lecture emailed prior to the session, and then attend the workshop where we will apply our newly found knowledge to real-life studies (e.g., descriptive exploratory, clinical trials, pilot studies) including your own – we encourage you to bring your own ideas and questions (even if in concept phase) for discussion and feedback. At the end of the session, attendees will be familiar with basic mixed-method study designs and know how to apply them to their own research program.
